Here it is! My new Decor Elements arrived this afternoon and I’ve already put up the Long Stem Silhouette. It was amazingly easy to put up all by myself! This doorway is the entry to my Studio in the main floor hallway. It fills the empty space perfectly! I purchased the large size Chocolate one.
Now, I’m definitely anxious to put up the other two Elements I purchased. Create will go in my Studio and I still need to find a place for the Baroque Motif medallions. I have a couple ideas for additional ones around the house.
These are so much FUN! I can’t wait for my Stamp Club to see these tomorrow.
Better get off…we’re have thunderstorms! Have a great evening.
Last Friday was the Blogger’s Challenge to use the colors, Green Galore, Pink and Turquoise. The Green Galore really thru me with these two other colors. As I mentioned in THAT post, I scrapped my original card. Lynn mentioned in her comment that we should have to POST these scrapped cards! So here goes…this is the card I scrapped in favor of the one I posted on Friday. Looking at it again, I guess it isn’t too bad…it just wasn’t floating my boat when I first made it.
I used a Tempting Turquoise base card and added the black layer. The DSP is from Bali Breeze. The green layer I scored lines every 1/4 inch and rounded the corners. I stamped the girl with Pixie Pink Craft Ink and added the layer of Pixie Pink behind her. I wrapped some Tempting Turquoise ribbon around the green layer and then tied a Pixie Pink polka dot ribbon on that. Then I used the circle punches and scallop punch to accent the greeting "Make A Wish". Overall, not a complicated card at all.
BIG NEWS today from Stampin’ Up! We are branching out into a new line called Decor Elements which is design art, alphabets or phrases for your WALLS! They will come in two sizes…a smaller size for decorative pieces such as platters, frames and mirrors AND a large size for walls and doorways! We will offer over 100 designs in white and chocolate. I’m anxious to see the new mini catalog featuring these designs tomorrow! Stay tuned for more details…
